We need a name for the GMPC blog.

• The GMPC includes 8 classes with 220 students, who will vote for the blog name.
• Can we distill what we’ve been doing into a blog name?
• Do you want the name to be descriptive or easy to type?
• Should it be easy to remember?

Make suggestions and have discussions with your classmates, friends, family members, and other teachers.  Mull it over in your mind. Try typing it.  Type it into google.   Is it a name/acronym for anything else that’s on the net?

S. Civil Rights Movement in the 1960’s, most immigrants to the U. S. came from Europe.  The Civil Rights Movement resulted in a change in U. S. immigration laws, because Americans realized, that to be fair, we had to open our doors to people from Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia.  So many of you were able to immigrate to the U. S., because of the Civil Rights Movement.What would have happened to you family, if you hadn’t been able to immigrate to the U.S.?
